Overview
New College invites applications for a Career Development Fellowship in French (to be held as a Supernumerary Fellowship) for four years from 1 October 2010 based in New College Oxford. The post-holder will be expected to engage in research, to offer eight hours per week language and tutorial teaching for New College in any two centuries of early modern (16th to 18th Century) Literature, and to share in the administration of French in College. There is no possibility of renewal beyond 30 September 2014.
Amount Awarded
The appointment will be paid on a scale from point 1 £30,688 to point 4 £31,769 p.a. The successful candidate will also receive the Fellows Allowance of £2,860 p.a., a research allowance of £700 p.a., a book allowance of £536 p.a., and an entertainment allowance of £180 p.a. The Fellow will be a member of Governing Body and of the Senior Common Room and entitled to full rights of commons during term and vacation.
